It is an electric lock where both parts slide into each other. There is one basic lock which is then adapted to an outdoor door (fail secure) which are locked when the power goes out or indoor door (fail safe) which are unlocked when the power goes out. The lock works in a conventional manner or as a standalone. In that case we use our controller.
